Bredasdorp
This weekend I had the privilege to travel with Stefan to the lovely Bredasdorp for a wedding and to cover the sweet coffee shop and amazing guest house that Zuan runs there.
It also happened to be the first time that I got to try out my new 24-70 f/2.8 and my (soon to be, thanx Sybrand) new 30D. I had a great time shooting the bride – wow! – and the dance photos later. For the dance photos I used a 430 EX set up on a light stand with one of Stefan’s 580 EX’s triggering it as master. I am sorting things out to buy my own set of remote transmitters and stuff soon, so hopefully I won’t be stuck with this system too long. Nontheless, the two flashes worked like a charm and the setup made for some pretty cool shots. Obviously I stole the idea of the flash from working with The Genius, but he doesn’t mind
.
Here are some shots – check out the complete albums at the facebook links (***insert : it seems i can’t get the uploader to work now, and i need the bandwith to get Lightroom!**) or on flickr. I’ll be setting up the dedicated photography blog soon.
